CleanWorkout ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data We Collect

When you use CleanWorkout, we collect and store the following information:

• Account information — your email address, used for authentication and account recovery.
• Profile information — your name (optional), height, weight, and profile photo, provided voluntarily to personalize your experience.
• Workout data — custom workouts you create (exercises, sets, reps, weights) and completed workout sessions (duration, calories burned, exercises completed).

2. How We Store Your Data

CleanWorkout is an offline-first application. Your data is stored in two places:

• Locally on your device — all workout and profile data is saved to a local SQLite database so the app works fully without an internet connection.
• Remotely on Supabase — when you are online, your data syncs to our Supabase backend (hosted in EU-West-1) for backup and cross-device access. Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the CleanWorkout experience:

• To authenticate your account and keep your data secure.
• To sync your workouts and profile across sessions and devices.
• To calculate and display workout statistics (calories, duration, progress).

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core functionality.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is only processed by our infrastructure provider (Supabase) for the purpose of storage and synchronization.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (profile, workouts, sessions, and uploaded photos) will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Supabase Auth, and row-level security policies to ensure your data is only accessible by you.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
